Daylight Illusions
A waking dream,
Asleep in nightmares,
Greeting the dawn openly,
Loving light 'till sunset.
Awakening to horror
Exposed by demon daylight
And falling back to shadow:
To cool rest of pure illusion.
Illusion of daylight,
Dawn in the darkness,
Shadow of the dying candle,
Show me where to fall asleep.
Asleep among dancing dreams
Where the candles never die,
Daylight keeps its cool complexion,
The shadow demons kept at bay.
